Hans won the first International Speed Climbing Championships in 1991, and has held the US National title eleven times. He won the ESPN X Games three years in a row and has broken the Speed record on The Nose Route on El Capitan in Yosemite 8 times over the past 23 years. Hans wrote THE book “Speed Climbing,” currently in it’s second edition.
Hans has produced, spoken, directed, rigged, modeled, edited, photographed, filmed, written, competed, and acted in projects with: National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Outside, ESPN, and a very long list of others. He is happily married to Jacki Adams Florine, Papa to Marianna, and Pierce.
I am LOVING my Ferrosi Pants. I've climbed The Nose twice in them in the past ten days. The first time in mid temperatures, the second time in fairly hot conditions. They are so darn versatile. If you're ever on the fence between shorts or long pants, I'd just go with the full-length Ferrosi. T
