Thise shorts really move. I love the fabric for things that require flexibility. I have the pants too and really like them. I have the 30 and they are not tight. I am 5'9" and some may think they are a little long. They'are what you want when you're trying to get a leg up.

These are great shorts and could easily be excellent shorts. Like the Ferrosi pants, the front pockets need to be 1-2 inches deeper. Unlike the Ferrosi pants, the back pockets on these don't have zippers or even a velcro flap so they aren't very secure. Unlike the pants these have reasonable belt loops which is really nice. The thigh pocket is just the right size for my Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone but that is about it. A good size bellows style cargo pocket on the left thigh would be really nice.

Overall I really like these shorts and wear them a lot for hiking, backpacking and casual wear. With just a little effort, these could be five star shorts.

I love these shorts. Dont really play golf anymore, but you could get away with wearing them on a hoyti toyti golf course. They are great for athletic activities, hiking, biking, climbing, spring skining under your shell, or winter if you can do shorts then. I have found myself putting them on almost every day. I have never owned anything like them and would gladly add another pair.

I've worn these for two summers almost every day. My wife is sick of me wearing them. But they are the most comfortable shorts I own. I have an older pair that is green and I wish I could find this color again. White and grey are a little boring. These shorts stretch to move with you, breathe really well, and are nice and light. Perfect for hiking and climbing. I also mountain bike and bike commute in them a lot. I do wear a lightweight belt with them and they stay up for me.

I got mine on sale but the retail price is a little steep.

I found my shorts seriously falling off after a couple hours with a pack on (my pack was pushing down mind you).
Also the sizing is awkward for me. I wear a 36, not a 35, so the short were a hair tight. 38 would be way too big.
Other than that they were excellent. I wore them all the time. Excellent for anything that require mobility (climbing).
