          Comments about Omni Gloves:

I picked these up at the OR store in downtown Seattle, looking for a cold weather cycling glove. That was four years ago. Some of the grip is gone, and there are holes in the palms, but essentially the glove is still performing. This is after four years of bike commuting, cyclocross racing, installing chains on car tires, wrenching, and other indignities. They are 'warm-enough', down to a little bit below freezing, look sharp, and fit closely with good grip. If the grip texture had a little 'tooth' to it the grip would be improved. I am hard on my gear and these gloves have held up very well. No frills.

            Comments about Omni Gloves:

I mainly used this product in the middle east during winter. Held up great in an environment that stayed wet, muddy, and cold even though they aren't water proof. Fairly dextrous for a fleece glove. I lived in a shipping container that had no windows so the glow in the dark palms are great for finding things when you go from the daylight to a pitch black room. Helped to keep from waking the roomate up and ruining his crew rest. Used camping this fall and the luminescent palms worked well then also if you'd just been by a fire or other light source. It's to bad they can't figure out how to safely make them out of tritium so you don't have to charge them. Also used for running this winter and for atv riding. As a person with poor circulation in my fingers I have been very pleased with these gloves.

Best spring and fall ski/mountaineering glove I have ever come across. I skied an entire season in Colorado with only this glove and a light mitten shell. After an hour of skinning, I would usually ditch the shell. Held up very well over three years of grabbing rocks, and ringing out melted snow on spring ski days. I never thought fleece could be so tough. The grip material wore off the index finger and thumb in about a week, but they just would not die. Perfect insurance for summer hiking without adding a lot of weight or bulk. I almost cried when I lost one last week. I will be buying a new pair for the winter jogging comfort and light packability, and any day or night over 25 degrees F.

The two best gloves rated to that temp would be either the Remote gloves or the Northback gloves.
