Cons

    Best Uses

    • ice climbing

This is my go-to glove for ice climbing in cold or wet conditions. OR makes lots of other great gloves, but if I had to pick just one for ice climbing activities, this would be it. I use it on simple climbs like in the Ouray Ice Park, or on ice big wall first ascents in Alaska.

    • Q:

Will these gloves be compatible with a liner glove of the same size?
      Asked on 1/14/2013 by Anonymous

      1 answer

      • A:

They are not meant to have a liner. If they are loose fitting for you, I'm sure you could stuff one in there, but it would compromise performance in many circumstances.

    • Q:

I just bought a pair of Alpine Alibi II gloves. Can you tell me what the loop on the back of the middle finger is for?

      • A:

to put the biner through and hang the gloves from your harness. the downward position of the glove opening means that the snow and ice chunks don't get into the gloves. cheers.
