Love, love, love this jacket. I wear it almost everyday on brisk bike rides to work. Works great for a touch of warmth and protection while allowing me to still be active. Has been great of early morning and evening hikes. The collar takes a bit to get used to but not a factor with the great performance of the jacket.

    • Q:

I am looking for a soft shell that will keep me warm while running, hiking, and snowshoeing on cold days, and that will be a good mid-layer in extremely cold temperatures. Does the Cirque Jacket seem well suited to this role?

        A:

The Cirque is a great universal shell that would perform well under these conditions and activities.

    • Q:

I am looking for a nice, thin, soft shell, winter jacket. I am stuck between the Cirque and the Transfer jacket. I like the shape of the Cirque but I am wondering if it is thicker than I would like. Is the Cirque a thicker jacket than the Transfer? and if so, how much thicker? Also, which of these two jackets has a more wind/weather resistant outer?

        A:

The Cirque is a thinner jacket than the Transfer utilizing less insulation. The Transfer will feature a more weather resistant outer shell.

    • Q:

Is the outer feel of the jacket soft? Or halfway between soft and hard? I have a snowgum softshell that is 100% waterproof but it doesn't have that really nice soft outer feeling, it's more the halfway feeling, sorry not sure how to better describe it

        A:

It has more of coarse feel because of the durable double weave stretch woven fabric it is designed with.

    • Q:

I love this jacket. How do I wash out the dirt and potential oil due to a rainy ride in city streets?

        A:

Good question, the best way to wash your jacket is by hand with tech wash. If you need to use a washing machine the front loader is best on gentle.

    • Q:

Hi, I am thinking of getting the W's Cirque Jacket for ice skating. I'm just not sure if it will be warm enough?

        A:

The Cirque is a warm softshell that is great for high-energy activities. It breathes well and is weather resistant. Since ice skating is a high energy activity, I would say it would be a good fit. Thanks for your question!
