Comments about W's Palisade Pants�:

I tried for years to find good rain pants. These are comfortable. A zipper runs from shoe to waist. Easy on and off. I love that you can unzipped the top and use your pockets of your pants since there is a Velcro closure. Wonderful. Plus there is a rear pocket on the pants. My only qualm is that they are a couple inches short for me. I'm 5'7". But I'll wear gaiters with them to accommodate the problem. Otherwise awesome fit. It's like someone designed them to actually be worn. Fits legs and waist great. Does sit high. But stay up!!!

  The lightest women's rainpants OR currently has are the W's Aspire Pants. They will not be as light as the Helium Jacket, but they are very comfortable and waterproof. At only 9.4 oz, they are a great balance between being lightweight and durable.

  Down the two sides. Complete zipper on each leg that is held shut w Velcro at waist and snap at ankle.

  No, the Palisade Pants do not have side pockets. they do have a full-length, double -separating side zippers.
