Stormbound Mitts™

Style# 76200OR

The toastiest mitts in our ski collection, the Stormbound Mitts are built by sandwiching a layer of 800+ fill power down between two layers of PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic insulation – the same combination of insulations used in our furnace-like Stormbound Jacket. By surrounding the weather-vulnerable down with water-resistant PrimaLoft® Gold, we ensure the Stormbound Mitts will both stay warm in wet weather and wick perspiration away from the skin. The waterproof, breathable Pertex® Shield outer shell further protects your hands from wet or melting snow, and the comfy, secure rib-knit cuff with hook-and-loop closure seals out the elements.

Very satisfied (Review by Flaco)

These mitten are toasty and fit great. While I usually wear a medium, I had to order a large for the right fit. These mittens are made with lots of attention to detail: snug closure, leather palms, nicely-placed material to pull them on, etc. It has been quite cold of late in eastern Mass and these mittens are just what I needed. I look forward to years of service with these mittens. Thank you.

Not Suitable for temps below -20C (-4F) (Review by YT_DC)

I purchased these mitts hoping that they would serve as my warmest winter mitts. I live in the Yukon and warm mittens are a necessity. These mitts served me well until -20C but my hands got cold at temps below that. These mitts are great if you are in a moderate winter climate but not suitable for harsh winter weather.

Warmest Gloves I've Ever Owned! (Review by Kelli)

I'm so glad they found a way to make down mittens. I used these when climbing Kilimanjaro, and I would have to take my hands out to take pictures and when I put them back in the mitten, they would warm right back up. Now I live in Fairbanks and these are just incredibly warm. I would highly recommend!
