I've been using this piece for three seasons. Absolutely best fitting, best performing balaclave/mask type piece I've ever owned in 25 years of snowsports.Excellent fit with goggles & helmet.Protects against wind & sun in harsh conditions.Made well, designed well. Plenty worth it.

These are awesome for skiing. The goretex windstopper is the only way to go for your neck and face. Fits great under my ski helmet and keeps me completely warm on frigid days when most people stay inside. The mouth vents could be a tad bigger but that is a minor complaint compared to how well the rest of it performs. When I just have it around my neck I forget it is there because of its breathability and thin fabric.

This is a great product, I use it daily commuting to and from work in Chicago. It definitely stops the wind and keeps you warm. I gave it four stars instead of five because the vents for the mouth don't let in as much air as I would like while performing an aerobic activity. A lot of the moisture escapes up and freezes to my eyelashes, but nothing I can't wipe off. Overall, it gets the job done.

Just got this product and it's amazing. I have never owned a balaclava. I have always worn toboggans that made my head itch and never covered my ears all the way. With the helmetclava my face, ears, and head stay warm with the soft fleece fabric, even during really windy days and days I mountain bike. Fits under a helmet quite nicely and is extremely breathable. If looking like a ninja and keeping your head warm are something you like, then this is definitely something to try.
