- Best climbing pants around (Review by JD)
Very well built, comfortable, light, and surprisingly durable. The stretchy material is great and well placed. Have crammed my knees in many cracks and they arent even fraying. The pants have a sporty feel but still look casual. If I ever manage to destroy them I will undoubtedly get another pair.

- Ready to rock (Review by Phil)
Just got a pair of Ascendant Pants and they have me thinking of rock-climbing season. The pants, designed for climbing, are made of tough cotton fabric and very comfortable. The knees have some spandex for a bit of extra stretch when you're struggling up an off-width. The pants have belt loops, but they aren't really needed as there is a built-in adjustable belt. Perhaps the loops are for if want to wear the pants around town with a belt. In addition to the usual back and front pockets, there is a small thigh pocket (with a button) that could hold a cellphone, small camera, or energy bar. I even like the washing instructions: "Do not iron." One small complaint: I would like to have a button or zipper on one of the back pockets.
