- Good effort, could be better (Review by Nick)
I was excited to get a hybrid soft/hard shell jacket. And disappointed by the details. The internal stretch pockets are too small to be useful. I can't fit my skins in them (cut for 90mm skis). And the hand pockets fall under a hip belt so their inaccessible most of the time and don't help in venting. The stretch pocket meant for a phone, that's inside the chest pocket, doesn't fit an iPhone 6 (which means it won't fit nearly any Samsung or other phone either). All 3 of these details are so easy to correct, why did OR miss the execution on a great idea? Fit is OK. Hip is little slim, arms are nicely long. Zippers are smooth and easy.

- Great Ski Touring Jacket (Review by Peter)
I've used my Trailbreaker Jacket for ski touring about 2 dozen days now, I really like it.
The Pertex material breathes well, even better than Goretex Active, and if you're really heating up the huge pit zips really work. The underarm zips don't bother me with stiffness or noise like other jackets I've used. The fabric has some nice stretch to it, allowing free motion while skinning and turning.
The hood works with or without a helmet and can be adjusted even with mitts on.
The internal pockets will fit skins cut for ~105mm skis, if needed, though I rarely use them.
If I could make one improvement it would be to move the side pockets up so I could actually use them with a pack. They're not useable where they are.
The main body fit is slim, so nothing whips around in the wind. The sleeves have plenty of length for active movement.
I'm 6'1", about 170lbs, and I wear a Medium
