Our Infinite Guarantee® means we’re happy to issue a full refund or online store credit for gear you are not completely satisfied with. If you’d prefer to receive an online store credit, please note it’s good for purchases in our online store only. How to make a return:
- I have an Outdoor Research Account- How do I return my item(s)?
Step one: Sign in to your Outdoor Research account
Step two: Find the Cust. P.O. # referenced on your packing slip in your order history and click on VIEW ORDER
Step three: Click on RETURN (upper right hand corner), fill out the Return Items Information and click SUBMIT
Step four: Write the Return # generated on the outside of your package and mail to:

Call our Customer Service Department at 1.855.967.8197 or email us at [email protected] and we will issue you a Return #. To help expedite the return process, please ship your item(s) back to Outdoor Research with the Return # clearly labeled on the outside of the package.
- I received my OR gear as a gift - How do I return my item(s)?
Call our Customer Service Department at 1.855.967.8197. We’ll help you set up an Outdoor Research account and issue you a Return #. To help expedite the return process, please ship your gift back to Outdoor Research with the Return # clearly labeled on the outside of the package. Once we process the return, a credit will be issued to your account for use in our online store for the value of the returned item.
We suggest using a carrier that can provide tracking information for the gear you return to us.
Labeling your shipment with your Return # will help expedite the return process.
Returns are processed within one to two business days of arriving to our Returns Department. Once we verify your return, you will receive an email alerting you to the status of your refund. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
