Great for hunting (Review by Eric)

I purchased these pants to use primarily for hunting. These pants can be completely unzipped on each side, which allows you to add or remove them as a mid layer without completely removing your outer layer. Simply drop your outer pants down to your ankles and slip these on and zip down each side. This allows me to hike up mountains wearing a light camo pant or rain shell, and I can add this insulating layer underneath once I get settled in at my hunting spot. They are very warm for being so lightweight. I also love that they have an integrated belt and zippered fly. These would also be great to wear around camp or inside a sleeping bag to add warmth. I have a 34" waist, and a size large fit perfect.

Looking for warmth and comfort? (Review by t.Bone)
Quality

I packed these on a late September alpine backpacking trip to the Sawtooth Range in Idaho this Fall. Boy was I glad I had them. When the sun went down I slipped them on over a base layer and under some shell pants. It was enough to keep me warm in 15 degree weather. For the weight of the pant and the warmth they provide I feel they are a must have on those potential cold situations.

Dear OR, women are always cold, please make a women's line of these pants so I know where MINE are when I'd like them!

While guiding winter trips in Montana, I love these pants. I can ski or hike all day while wearing my shell and when I get to camp I just zip these on right over the shell and I am cozy all night. They pack small and weigh little. I can't believe I went so many years without this layer.

Men's Neoplume Pants™ (Review by By Jimmi the Brit)

I bought these pants to wear under a GORE TEX pant in the winter to add warmth, and to leave on when crawling into a tent in the winter after taking my snowy outer layer off. I actually now wear them around town in the winter, shoveling snow off the driveway, well you name it. They are warm and super lightweight. love love love them.

Men's Neoplume Pants™ (Review by By Jason the Climber)

I fell in love with these pants pretty quickly climbing in the cold dark grotto of East Vail's Amphitheater in Colorado. It's bloody cold up there (by Colorado standards), and sees no sun whatsoever. The long mixed routes separated by no hands rests in the middle make for long belay sessions. These pants make the experience completely tolerable. Also great if you are standing around teaching clinics, guiding, or going to a outside party in winter. The fact that they are light makes the reasonable to take along in your pack. That light material likely wouldn't hold up to much abuse if you tried climbing in them on say Birdbrain Blvd in Ouray. Of course they weren't designed for that so it doesn't come as a big surprise. I would highly suggest buying these for your girlfriend/wife if you're hoping to get them into ice climbing. That's the only way you'll be able to get them to put up with belaying your slow booty (censored by the system) more than once. :-)
