    • A:

I believe I saw somewhere that it is spf 15, but I cannot confirm it with a reference. I have a black one that I use as a running cap in spring, summer and autumn to keep the sun off the top of my head. I just ordered two more. For me, a very practical item.

  • Q:

There is no description of the back. Is it a velcro adjust?

    • A:

no. there is about three inches of elastic with minimal stretch so if the cap is too large you have no help. If it is too small, the elastic won't help much.

  • Q:

Other than the bill, does this hat wear similarly to a ball cap? Every picture I have seen makes the cap look deep and I don't want to have to tuck my ears in. I would like something that absorbs the sweat under my helmet, though.

    • A:

You concern is legitimate. The hat is deep, very deep. It does not much absorb sweat either although there is a band in it.

It wears similarly to a ball cap, just with a shorter brim.
