Comments about Sun Bucket�:

My husband and I both own this hat and we love them. We are rarely without them when spending any length of time in the sun. I think we look a bit dorky wearing matching bucket hats, but the hat performs SO well that we don't care! It's the most lightweight hat I've ever owned. My favorite things about this hat are the adjustable toggle, the fact that it's available in multiple sizes because one size does not fit all (like most brands), it's breathable, and I like that it's a bucket style and not sticking straight out on either side of my head.

Q:
OK, I'll admit - I didn't read the tag and machine washed AND dried this hat. Now the shape has 'warped' .
AND it says 'do not iron' (although I'm tempted) .
I tried shaping it while damp, but no luck. Any other ideas or have I ruined it for good?

  The Sun Bucket hat has a slightly shorter brim (2 5/8") that angles down a bit more than the brim on the Helios hat. The brim on the Helios (2 3/4") floats directly out from the head, offering a bit more sun protection all around. With the flatter brim, it can also pack flat in your pack.

  The Nylon/polyester fabric of the Sun Bucket will be water resistant but not waterproof. It is desgned for protection from sun exposure, but will also perfom in light weather.

  The Sun Bucket can be machine washed. I would not recommend machine drying , as this can beat up the fabric. There are also detergents that will be easier on the material, and your other outdoor gear, at your local outdoor store. Thanks for your question!
