Like the title suggests, my wife stole this from me because it's so soft. I'll put it back in my closet after laundry day only to find her lounging around the house in it again. She likes soft things and this one is super soft.
The interior feels like soft fleece while the outside offers a smooth knit look. The Longhouse is very warm.
It's a bit heavy to use as a technical garment. There are lighter weight options for throwing in the bottom of a pack and going backpacking or climbing. But those options don't look as good or feel as comfortable as the Longhouse.
My only complaint is the high collar that comes up to chin level. It's great for warmth but for a casual piece I feel like it could be a touch lower.
