- Great functional shirt (Review by brownc9)
I originally picked up this pullover to wear while backcountry skiing, because I get too hot skinning in most everything else. Still waiting winter to arrive, but in the meantime I've been wearing this thing all the time. Whether walking the dog, sailing or mountain biking. It's great, moves with me, not too hot, comfortable, etc. Recommend.

- Perfect (Review by Steven)
This jacket fits the bill for fall or spring days (in the south) where there could be wind, rain, or just a plain light chill. It is fit for activity, so know that it hugs you, and the stretch really helps with lateral movement. Soft and smooth, it blocks all but severe winds, and your base layer will provide the warmth. It is pretty lightweight and packs very easily. The hood, when not in use, falls flat on your back, not annoying with movement. There is no drawstrings to tighten the hood and really does not need one, since it is pretty form fitting. Overall, a great addition for mild weather when you are out and about. Great just to have handy.

- awesome multi-purpose shirt/jacket (Review by brygil)
I love the Whirlwind hoody because it stretches, breathes and feels very light when on. It's a great layer to keep bugs off and provides good sun coverage without being too hot. I also love having this along on long rock routes where throwing it on to block the wind can make all the difference at a long belay - and it's not crinkly like a shell can be. When not wearing the Whirlwind it tucks into it's pocket or I simply tie it around my waist so it's ready for quick deployment when needed. Great for running and cycling too.
