Wicked awesome shorts (Review by Jeremy)

Just like the jacket, they are the bees knees. I rarely take these off in the summer as they are pretty much all you need for any adventure. Columbia River Gorge waterfall hiking: Go in the water come out with everything wet but the shorts (DWR is solid). Moab, breathable and airy. Bonus: The pockets are stretchy enough to hold a good sized camera lens if it comes down to that. Sadly, like the OR pants I own, the waists seem VERY generous.

Awesome shorts, long inseam for the style. (Review by Will)

First, if you hover between sizes, do yourself a favor and size down. They're stretchy shorts so if they feel perfect out of the dryer or in the fitting room, they will definitely become annoyingly loose if you're wearing them for more than just a day (backpacking, etc.). Also, I find the inseam too long as nothing annoys me more than having a hem tickling the back of my knee, so I cut off the bottom inch and a half and wear sweet soft shell jorts. You may not care.

Anyways, these are my favorite shorts and I am finally laying to rest my first pair after 6 seasons of field use. The zipper on the side pocket has finally died (maybe from picking up too much trash on trail). I love them so much that I might just sew the pocket shut and continue to use them in the non-work setting. Besides being fast drying, super stretchy (awesome for rock climbing and hiking up steep, rocky terrain), and lightweight, they are also ultra-durable. I have thought the fabric was going to tear for the last 3 seasons and it hasn't. Even extended contact with granite has left them without any holes. They certainly don't look new any more, but they are still solid which is where it all counts in the end. I can't speak highly enough of these shorts. It would totally be worth the money to get them hemmed if your length requirements are similar to mine.

Thise shorts really move. I love the fabric for things that require flexibility. I have the pants too and really like them. I have the 30 and they are not tight. I am 5'9" and some may think they are a little long. They'are what you want when you're trying to get a leg up.

Men's Ferrosi Shorts (Review by By mtcyclist)

These are great shorts and could easily be excellent shorts. Like the Ferrosi pants, the front pockets need to be 1-2 inches deeper. Unlike the Ferrosi pants, the back pockets on these don't have zippers or even a velcro flap so they aren't very secure. Unlike the pants these have reasonable belt loops which is really nice. The thigh pocket is just the right size for my Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone but that is about it. A good size bellows style cargo pocket on the left thigh would be really nice. Overall I really like these shorts and wear them a lot for hiking, backpacking and casual wear. With just a little effort, these could be five star shorts.

Men's Ferrosi Shorts (Review by By meado)

I love these shorts. Dont really play golf anymore, but you could get away with wearing them on a hoyti toyti golf course. They are great for athletic activities, hiking, biking, climbing, spring skining under your shell, or winter if you can do shorts then. I have found myself putting them on almost every day. I have never owned anything like them and would gladly add another pair.

Men's Ferrosi Shorts (Review by By Mike)

I've worn these for two summers almost every day. My wife is sick of me wearing them. But they are the most comfortable shorts I own. I have an older pair that is green and I wish I could find this color again. White and grey are a little boring. These shorts stretch to move with you, breathe really well, and are nice and light. Perfect for hiking and climbing. I also mountain bike and bike commute in them a lot. I do wear a lightweight belt with them and they stay up for me. I got mine on sale but the retail price is a little steep.

Men's Ferrosi Shorts (Review by By CDT)

I found my shorts seriously falling off after a couple hours with a pack on (my pack was pushing down mind you). Also the sizing is awkward for me. I wear a 36, not a 35, so the short were a hair tight. 38 would be way too big. Other than that they were excellent. I wore them all the time. Excellent for anything that require mobility (climbing).
