- super solid (Review by Wellnesscoach)
All the features mentioned by prior reviewers make this jacket super solid. Love the adjustable hood. When stuffed into it's pocket makes almost a perfect sized pillow for in the car, the tent, or the airport.
Laughs i the face of a sleet storm. Bravo OR.

- Great light insulating jacket (Review by climbskihike)
I love this jacket. It is a great alternative to the arcteryx atom LT and I find it superior in a few key ways: 1. The hood is better - you can actually adjust it so it fits snug and it turns with you. 2. The fit is better - for me at least the Cathode/Halogen has a bit more room but is not overly baggy. 3. The chest pocket is on the outside - easier access. 4. Packs into its own pocket. 5. better colors.
Overall an awesome jacket, great for active pursuits in cold conditions and a nice light jacket for cool conditions.

- The best color: (Review by Mike)
Lemongrass green is absolutely the best color that the garment industry has come up with since International Orange! It's easy to look at and visual from a distance and yet still remain stealth. In which most hunters and bush people would like to remain. In closing,I find it inexcusable to be out of stock or to maybe discontinue this particular color..........Michael Geyer

- Favorite piece of clothing ever (Review by catchbigair)
Hands down, I love this piece of clothing more than anything I have ever worn. I've skied in it well over 50 days, I've hiked in it, worn it to the office, etc., and it still looks like it's new. It's a great insulation layer under an OR shell, doesn't get soggy like down, and wears like iron. I ordered it in blue but exchanged it for black because the color online appears much brighter than what it really is.

- A mid-layer with more (Review by Peter)
This Jacket is awesome for ski tourers, especially in wetter climates. I have done a dozen snowy dawn patrols wearing mine this year. The 60g Primaloft gives roughly the insulation of a thick fuzzy polypro shirt, but the shell material blocks wind and precipitation giving a huge advantage over a fuzzy base layer when the weather gets windy and wet. The Primaloft doesn’t absorb sweat like a polypro or down layer will, and the outer shell allows you to keep your real shell in your pack for the skin track, so it doesn't get soaked with sweat. The cut is slim, for layering under a bigger jacket on the way down. The jacket stuffs easily into its own pocket. Highly recommend this as a mid-layer or aerobic outer-layer for people heading out into cold wetness.

- Men's Halogen Hoody™ (Review by By Mark Allen-IFMGA/AMGA)
The Halogen my new favorite layer in the quiver. Coupled with the OR Radiant layer and a light soft-shell and you will have a system that will work in any environment. A base system or the whole enchilada is can be used for Fall bouldering=>ski touring=>Summer alpine=> cold morning smoking jacket: is jacket is a perfect complimentary synthetic middle weight layer for all sports.Pros:~Dumps heat in overheated areas while working ~Can be used as a heat regulation layer ~Synthetic fill for wet environments ~Packs well ~Fits over a helmet or fro nicely ~Not to thick or thin ~Hybrid sleeves streamline the jacket ~Outer fabric is holding up to minor tears nicely ~Predictably a layer that will be around and not wear out. ~Nice zippers, good easy pull, no issues.Uses thus far: ~Fall climbing on Rainier during storms, worn while climbing ~Warming up Fall bouldering in WA~Training outside in fall air~A sweatshirt ~Alpine rock climbing: used in the morning while hiking and as a lighter puffy to bring along on the climbPredicted uses:~Every day this winter ~Ski touring on a cool day, Wearing while traveling~Ice climbing on a cold day under a light soft or hard shell~Trekking to basecamp

- Men's Halogen Hoody™ (Review by By brygil)
After shredding a down jacket or two trying to stay warm while climbing, I'm embracing my Halogen Hoody. Just enough stretch panels to keep me feeling free - all wrapped up in a more rock friendly package. If you love climbing you probably know that everything is easier when it's cold, happily you'll never have to take this jacket off.
