Men's Valhalla Hoody™

Style# 56500OR

In response to requests from many of our Ambassadors, the standard cut of the Valhalla Hoody provides a roomier fit when breaking trail and linking turns through bottomless snow. The GORE® WINDSTOPPER® soft shell fabric is windproof, water resistant and highly breathable, allowing perspiration and excess heat to escape on the skin track and fending off wind and snow on the descent. TorsoFlo™ venting helps dump hot air on long ascents, and an internal waterproof chest pocket with a clear, touch-screen sensitive window provides a safe and secure spot to store electronics on even the wettest—or sweatiest—backcountry days.

High Quality (Review by Cinder Chutes)
Quality

I like the quality of the material, and the way the jacket breathes which is astounding. The only problems I have with the jacket is the size of the hood and the size of the pockets, neither of which are large enough. You can't get skins or a half liter water bottle in the hand pockets and a lip balm is all you can put in the Napoleon pockets The hood is also too small to fit over a helmet. I had to go up a half jacket size but the fit is still tight. The decrease in the size of pockets of most manufactures is because they are making shells too trim. The jacket is regular fit if you are not wearing any insulation underneath.
