I liked these so much I bought two

I have been using these daily for a month above 10,000 ft with temperatures ranging for -30 F to +30 F. They are incredibly comfortable and easy to wear in this changing climate. I have been able to skip wearing gators in all but the deepest snows, and have never felt constrained or binded making any move.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I am climbing Denali in June-- are these pant appropriate? I will be cliombing for 5 to 10 to 15 hours a day for 3 weeks and can't stand pants sliding down--do these have a suspenders option?

      Yes, the Alibi pants will work well for lower on the mountain and as a layering piece at higher elevations. They do accept accessory suspenders.

    Do these fit over loosely buckled AT boots?

      A:

      The Alibi will most likely not fit over your AT boots. They are designed specifically for mountaineering boots. Check out the Aspect pant it is essentially the Alibi with side vents and a wider bottom for ski touring. The Trailbreaker is another great pant, super breathable upper half, waterproof bottom half.

    I am considering this pants for mountaineering/climbing like Mt. Shasta but I'm wary that it doesn't have vents. Between the Alibi and the Aspect pants, which is more appropriate for alpine climbing/mountaineering?

      A:

      The Aspect Pants were designed for back country skiing. They will be waterproof with with a combination of high and low loft fleece for warmth. The Alibi Pants were originally designed for ice climbing. They have a mix of waterproof material where it's needed most and high breath-ability where it's needed. The Aspects might be a better option for you since they have thigh vents and internal mesh gaiters.

      They have both water resistant softshell and waterproof softshell. The knees and seat are waterproof, everywhere else is water resistant.

    Wondering if anyone can help me out. Do these have more of a slim fit than the Cirque or are they roughly the same? Also - I can't seem to find an inseam dimension here on the website. Does anyone know how long a size medium is for the Alibi pant? Thanks!

      They are very similar fitting, the Cirque is slightly trimmer just because the fabric is thinner. The inseam for a size medium is 32".
