I got this jacket to use in Alaska. It worked great! I wore it on a multi-day paddling and camping trip. We paddled in rain, sleet, and snow. The jacket kept me nice and dry the whole time. The fit is also great and it isn't a typical plastic/ crunchy feeling rain jacket. The fabric is soft and the stretch is awesome, especially when doing physical activities like paddling where you are moving a lot. I don't like that the zipper cover only has the hook & loop closure at the bottom and top. Sometimes it would not be covering the zipper and I was worried some water might get through, but I never had any issues. Overall, this is a great jacket and I am excited to wear it more!

I'm a bicycle commuter in seattle and I'm looking to find a lightweight, breathable jacket that will keep me dry. I like the fit and features of this jacket, but am worried that with my hour long bike ride, it will not keep the rain out. Do I sacrifice fit and go with a goretex shell instead?
