Better than the Seattle Sombrero (Review by Skye)

I got the Misto rather than the Seattle Sombrero for three reasons. First, I've never had any desire to wear my rain/sun hats like a cowboy, and the Misto doesn't have any unsightly velcro on the sides. Second, the brim is significantly thicker so I'm hoping it will resist flipping up in strong wind (haven't had a chance to try it out yet, though). Third, the toggle for the cinch cord is on the outside of the hat so I can easily adjust it with one hand, unlike the Seattle Sombrero's more cumbersome internal velcro adjustment, which requires you to take the hat off (not something you want to do in cold rain!) to change the sizing.

Overall it's a very well-made hat, and I like that the fleece lines the entire inside, not just the edges. I imagine it will keep my head toasty warm even in freezing temps. Please don't stop making this hat, and please make it available in more colors!

Women's Misto Sombrero™ (Review by By Ellen P)

As a professional gardener in Seattle, I needed a super functional rain hat, and this one delivers. I really like how the brim is stiff all the way around with a stylish flair. It washes well which is important since a gardening rain hat = mud all over. I also don't seem to get hat hair with this one, and it comes in a large enough size for me. I'm even using it for a sun hat, although I haven't road tested the black color all season yet. I'm very pleased with this one. All of my colleagues are envious.
