Sentinel Sun Sleeves™

Style# 243238OR

Though they're just as susceptible to sunburn and insect bites, the forearms are often left uncovered and unprotected in warm weather, frequently resulting in burned, bitten and damaged skin. With silicon grip pads affixed to the palm of their breathable, wicking stretch polyester fabric, the Sentinel Sun Sleeves™ are treated with insect repellent, EPA-registered Insect Shield® and offer UPF 50+ protection for your arms.

awesome sun sleeves (Review by Rani)
Quality

I love these sun sleeves. I started using sun sleeves a few years ago because i am very light complected and sun screen just isn't enough even in a high SPF. I love how these have the thumb holes and come down and cover the tops of my hands. I've burnt the tops of my hands before while at 12k ft so I was really happy with this feature. I also love the fabric and the overall fit of the sleeve, they are very comfortable and have a great SPF rating.

I have a pair of these as well as the non-insect shield ones. In rain forest settings these have been invaluable because I don't to worry about bites. Honestly I love an excuse to use less bug repellant and less sunscreen, especially on multi-day trips. Using these and the OR Bug Bucket hat you can get away w/ only very minimal use of DEET or other repellant-- just put a small amount at your sock line and tuck pants into socks. I've worn these even in very high temps (high 90s). Extremely breathable. Well worth the extra 10 bucks for the repellant.
