How long does it take for my order to ship once it is placed?
As fast as we can! Our warehouse crew ships online orders within one business day from the time they are placed.* Orders placed after 11am PST on Fridays or over the weekend will be processed the following Monday. If you’re heading out on an adventure and need your gear to ship by a certain day, please call our Customer Service Department at 855 967 8197 M-F from 7am to 5pm PST. We want you to be properly equipped, and we’ll be sure your order gets processed accordingly.

How will my order ship?
We ship all packages out of our Seattle, WA warehouse using FedEx Ground for a flat rate based on order value (see chart above). As soon as your order leaves our location, an email confirmation will be sent to you with a link to your tracking number.
Please note FedEx Ground does not deliver to P.O. Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses. These shipments will be delivered by USPS Priority Mail and the shipping rate is based on the weight and shipping location. USPS Priority Mail does not have tracking capabilities, but you will receive an email confirmation letting you know your shipment has left our Seattle, WA warehouse.
*Free ground shipping is valid on all orders over $99.00, excluding tax and shipping charges. Please choose the Ground $0.00 option at checkout or call 855 967 8197 to receive this offer by phone. Offer is valid in the U.S. only and is not available for P.O. Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses. *Pro Purchases are not eligible for free shipping and different rates apply.
Does Outdoor Research Ship Internationally?
Sorry. We currently only offer shipping within the United States.
Ground Shipping: All orders placed before 11am PST will ship within one business day (order placed on Monday before 11am will leave Outdoor Research on Tuesday or sooner). Orders placed after 11am PST will ship within one to two business days (order placed on Monday afternoon will leave Outdoor Research on Tuesday). Standard Ground shipping times are 2-7 business days from the time it leaves Outdoor Research with the first business day being the day of pick up from our location. Alaska and Hawaii may experience longer shipping times. Orders placed after 11am on Fridays or over the weekend will be processed on Monday. P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses will ship via USPS Priority Mail and transit times are 2-12 business days.
2-Day: All orders placed before 11am PST will ship that same business day. Orders placed after 11am PST will ship the next business day. P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses are not eligible for FedEx 2-Day service. Expedited shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are not guaranteed.
Overnight: If you absolutely, positively need your shipment by a certain day, please call our Customer Service Department at 855 967 8197. We will do whatever we can to get you your gear in time for your next adventure!
