- Light, warm (Review by Alison)
I love this jacket. Super light, packs down small, but extremely warm. It has a backing behind the zipper that keeps the thin material from getting caught in the zipper, which is a nice touch. Could be a wee bit longer, but this is my favorite jacket for cold days. And it is so light that throwing it in the pack is a no-brainer.

- Warmest Down Jacket for the Weight! (Review by alpinerodeo)
The Incandescent is a must for anyone who loves the outdoors when it’s cold but doesn’t want to actually be cold. I use this mostly for cold alpine rock and mixed climbing with the odd backcountry ski session thrown in, but especially when snow camping is involved. This was my only down jacket for 6 weeks in the mountains of Chamonix, France, and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. For its weight, it’s so warm! I used to have the OR Refuge years back, which at the time was one of the warmest down jackets around. I think this one has it beat!
Other great features: the hood fits great over my climbing helmet, I really like the chest zip pocket, it stuffs into itself making for a nice pillow, and despite its warmth it still looks good — not at all bulky! Oh, and the drawstring hem allows you to shorten it a bit so it doesn’t compete with my harness. It’s a super quality jacket.

- So warm! (Review by alpinerodeo)
The Incandescent Hoody is the warmest jacket I've owned. It's great for fall belays and throwing on over my shell when transitioning my skins for a backcountry ski! In fact, I've gotten so comfortable in this jacket that I've started wearing it around town even before it drops below freezing! It's stylish, light, and when stuffed makes for a perfect travel pillow. I have it in desert sunrise/mulberry, which really stands out. It looks more like pink/fuchsia, but is still trendy--I get compliments on it all the time.

- Women's Incandescent Hoody (Review by By nan)
I was excited to find this jacket! I wanted a down belay jacket with some water resistance that still packed small. This jacket has been amazing. I wear it regularly and it is proving to be a great jacket! I stay remarkably warm. In fact, I have to take this jacket off at times if it is not cold enough. It's not a jacket that I leave in for long when I enter a building. The blue is a great color. (Be aware that the fabric is slightly sheer. If you don't like seeing feathers, go for the black.) The jacket has plenty of room for layers. I usually get XSs, but wanted this a little roomier for wearing over other jackets. It seems to have paid off. And per usual, my Jacket-thieving Partners have been stuffing their guy-selves into my jacket at belays..."wow, this is a Nice'un." Get your OWN! (:
