I love the blend of synthetic fabric with merino wool in this base layer: it dries very quickly, allows the body to breathe, and limits unpleasant odors. This would be a perfect base layer if OR re-thought its shape: it is generally quite baggy and straight for a women's base layer. The chest part needs more space and the waist part needs a little tightening. And unless you lift weights professionally, you will find the sleeves awkwardly baggy. Also, the shirt is too short to tag it into pants and not have it come out when you bend. OR, please change the shape of this base layer to make it more feminine! Otherwise, it is a great purchase.

PS. I own this shirt in light pink and it is almost see-though. I also own a 2-year older equivalent of this shirt without the collar or neck zipper and it came in a thicker fabric.

I wear this shirt all the time. It works great for casual wear as well as on the trail backpacking or doing yoga. The sleeves seem a bit big and loose, but that didn't stop me from getting the shirt in multiple colors. Overall the shirt is great! I have told many friends about it and they have their own now.

Great shirt for under wool or down sweater. Looser fitting than Ardent L/S. I have two of these shirts and they are the first shirts I look for when dressing for work (teaching skiing) or just romping on my own.
