Constructed of a lighter fabric than our venerable Mithril™, the Mithrilite™ provides ultimate protection when you're trolling about in cold, wet conditions. It's a sleek, durable, waterproof and breathable soft shell built with all the features needed for intense alpine exploits. Waterproof Ventia™ soft shell fabric and exterior seam tape shed wet snow and prevent soak-through for superior dryness, and a fleece lining retains body heat when you need it most. Functional across a range of weather conditions, the Mithrilite™ lets you forget about your layers and focus entirely on the climb.

Okay, just got my Mithrilite Jacket and I wore it on a tough mixed climb in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO. Well...the route was mixed but it was a mix of rock and water...no ice because conditions were warm. The water was pouring off the rock but it beaded up and bounced off my Mithrilite Jacket. BOUNCED OFF!! I stayed completely dry from the running water. The Mithrilite is also breathable so I stayed dry on the inside even though i was sweating the lead. Love the front chest pocket...kept my route description in there. My climbing harness obscures the other two pockets but they would be great if wearing the jacket during other uses (backpacking, hiking, around town). Love the zippered side vents.

I would try either hand washing the stain with Nikwax Tech Wash or machine washing it with Nikwax Tech Wash as well. Thanks!
