I bought this shirt as a base layer, every day, multi-day (6 day trips, 5-8 trips per summer) shirt for backpacking adventures. I'm a backpacking guide in CO during the summers and this shirt is simply perfect. Lightweight, breathable, incredibly comfortable, fits perfectly...I'm 6'2" 200lbs and the XL is money. The shirt is very stylish and comfortable at the gym or just wearing around the city. In my opinion, OR is the best outdoor product company there is. Trust me, if you exercise at all, no matter what activity you prefer, you're gonna want this shirt. WORTH EVER PENNY.

A great light weight top that I wear all the time over tee shirts or thermals, Great for a little extra warmth but without the bulk. Being so light and compact it ALWAYS gets thrown in a pack or the car so I have a light but warm top to put on. Great for layering under a heavier top too. My first OR product but definitely not the last.

Good for running in hot weather with a small pack. Very lightweight, so mostly suitable for preventing pack chafing or getting some sun cover. Material is so thin, with a snug fit, it feels practically see-through.

Comments about M's Sequence L/S Zip Tee!":

A light long-sleeve baselayer is the upper-body equivalent of a good pair of softshell pants. It's something that I wear for days at a time on trips, or day-after-day (sometimes even with an occasional wash or two) while at home. The blend of wool and synthetic fibers makes it far less smelly than traditional types of polypro, and isn't itchy. With a zip neck and sleeves that can be pulled up to the elbow, it's good for a full range of temps and activities.

I am between a medium and large (42" chest, but short at 5'6"). Would you characterize this shirt as Trim/Standard/Relaed fit? Just trying to decide on size.

                Thanks!

              • Q:

Does the addition of wool in this fabric do anything to provide flash fire resistance? The 88% polyester is certainly not but my 60% cotton/40% polyester shirts are rated as a flash resistant fabric. Wondering if the wool does the same thing at a lower percentage. Thanks.

this is almost the same question but i understand merino wool more in terms of weight. i need a summer long sleeved layer but 200 would be too heavy for me. how does this compare to the 150 weight (which is super light) merino? thanks.

The Sequence Zip Tee is made with 88% polyester and 12% merino wool. This creates a lightweight shirt that is able to wick moisture and dry quickly. It will feel like a cotton tee.

Is this shirt light or mid-weight?
In other words is it light enough to be worn for protection in the summer sun or is it intended to be a warm piece?

It is a drirelease wool and the weight is like a shirt.
