      These are my "go to" shorts for summer travel, day hikes and backpacking trips. The 10" inseam is perfect. The fabric is very durable and dries fast. The design is so well thought out. Zippered side pockets are awesome for storage and you don't have the floppy cargo pockets to deal with. Zippered rear pockets too. Built in web belt AND belt loops in case you want to add your own belt. I wear these everywhere!

          A:

          I've owned hiking and running shorts that fall into the "see through when wet" category. I also own the Equinox Shorts and they don't fall into this category. The lightweight fabric they are constructed of is fairly robust.
