Excellent Gairers, Awkward Fit

Best Uses

These are great gaitors. They're light enough for alpine climbing and effective in deep snow. The only problem that I have with them is fit. I'm 6' tall, 170lbs and size 11-1/2 (44 EU) boots.
The bottom of the gaiter doesn't reach the front lace on my hiking boots, it's just too tight. And the top of the gaitor doesn't tighten all the way around my calf, it's too loose at its tightest setting.
I can hook them on another lace, and they don't fall down, and they're otherwise a great product.

Q:
Does the XL Gaiters have more calf room than the Large? If not do you sell a oversized gaiter with more calf room?

  Yes the XL will have more room in the calf as well as the bottom hem. Anytime you size up in a gaiter the upper cuff increases as well as the lower cuff.
