Beschreibung

My Go To Ski Coat

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Skiing

I have used this coat skiing for two seasons from the Rockies to the Alps. It is phenomenal! It has kept me warm in temperatures down to -25, and dry in heavy snowfall. The internal baclava is an added bonus when the temps drop. Chest pocket allows earphones to by routed inside the coat. Runs a little big, but perfect for layering in cold temps.

can you use this as a mid layer?
Asked on 12/18/2012 by lc from nyc

      1 answer

      • A:

No, this jacket would not be appropriate as a mid layer. It is slightly bulky, as a down-filled jacket will be, and s waterproof so clearly outerwear .

    • Q:

Is this the warmest jacket in the OR line? What is this temp rated for? I live in Montana and I need an all-purpose coldest weather jacket possible. Thanks
Asked on 12/7/2012 by Chad from Billings, MT

        A:

The Stormbound is a ski/snowboard specific jacket and is the warmest waterproof jacket in the line. Our down parkas including the Maestro, Incandescent and Virtuoso Jackets will accommodate lower temps, but are not waterproof and will not handle adverse conditions as well as the Stormbound.
