These are the most versatile pants I have ever owned !

Fit varies across all manufacturers, but overall, I typically wear a 33" waist/ 34" inseam pants. The 34 long variety of this pant fits perfectly with a belt.

Great weighted and selected fabric to climb splitter cracks in the creek in October and April, and long haul alpine rock days in the Sierra summer. On the approach or high efforts, a little sweat is expected, and the pants dry quickly or can be rolled up briefly. roll down the cuff and the cool breeze at belays aren't a problem and the stretch is ideal for flexibility when negotiating rock moves.

If the front pockets had zippers the pant would be even better.

These pants quickly became my go to pant for warm weather climbing. They are super light but stop wind well, so they are warm enough for spring to fall climbing. I also like that they don't look awful: the curved waistband makes the pants very flattering, or at least that's what my girlfriend tells me!

I love these pants for climbing because of the drawcord on the inside of the cuff. It's super low profile and at first I didn't even know they were there, but I love being able to have tight cuffs for climbing without looking like a skinny jeans wearing hipster the rest of the time. The pockets are also nice and slim and don't become a problem after a few hours of wearing a harness. The side pocket is well placed for me to use while I've got my harness on.

I got my first pair of these pants as a gift, but I liked them so much I went and bought another pair.

I just wore these guiding a 21 day June trip in the Bob Marshall. These were just what I was looking for. I wanted a pant that didn't look like I was wearing some kind of parachute pant when I put gaiters on and that were more slimming in the legs and these were just that. I'm not quite sure what kind of belt someone would wear with these because they will support wearing a very wide one. I got the 30s and am a 30+ inseam and they fit great. I wore these with the Cascadia Gaters and I noticed there was some wear occurring on the shin area from the gaiter so I wouldn't want to do that with them all the time. They repelled water well and dried quick after stream crossings.

I've just started wearing the pants in an outdoor setting (they were too nice at first wearing them around town) and they are not only comfortable but also very durable. I wore them on an early Spring canoe outing and the material has good stretch and very tough. Front pockets aren't the best for storing keys, wallet and such. A little tight. But that's a very small point.

Just to let you know! I'm a 30" inch inseam and the pants come in 32" so I had to have my tailor remove the bungee cord hem in order to size them to a 30" inseam. Other than loosing the bungee cord hem (no big deal) they tailored beautifully. I find bungee cord hems useless. If you need protection wear gators.

A leisure walk around town or Nordic Walking the Ferrosi Pant is a winner. I'm a 34" and the pant fits like a glove (not to tight, not to loose). Just a few things to note: 1)Front pockets lack depth (for wallets, keys etc...), 2) Navy or steel blue would be nice and 3)How about a belt. I own both the Mushroom and Pewter and will be purchasing a pair in Black.

I've only had these pants for a week and I already love them! The are soft and as comfortable and pajamas and the material feels like it is born to last. I love the zip hip pockets and thigh pocket. The front pockets may be a little shallow or hard to get into. Overall I expect these to be my new favorites for hiking and climbing in cooler weather. I can't wait to wear them again, may have to order another pair in another color!
