  The Rambler Pants shed snow and light rain very well. They are no means rain gear, but can withhold a light rain if caught in less than ideal conditions for short periods.

  32 waist = 31 7/8 inseam
  34 waist = 32 7/8 inseam
  
  You will probably be more comfortable in a size 34 waist, but you would need to hem/roll the pants.
