I use this shirt primarily on backpacking trips. I live in the Pacific Northwest and conditions vary from rain to sun to snow. I've only used it once so far, but I was really impressed. It has a great soft feel, manages moisture really well and dries out super fast. I wound up slipping into a creek and getting pretty wet, then I was dry within the hour! The shot of wool tempers the synthetic funk nicely too. The only reason it didn't get that fifth star is that I can't speak for its durability yet. It looks like it will hold up pretty well, though.

My only complaint is that it is billed as a "wool blend", but it's only 12% wool. Don't get me wrong, the blend is perfect, but it is a synthetic shirt with a small shot of wool, not a wool shirt with some synthetic. If I had been expecting it to be a wool shirt, I would have returned it immediately. Let's call it like it is, this shirt is good enough that it doesn't need to pretend to be something else.

I first wore this shirt canoe racing. It was during the Adirondack Canoe Classic. The first day when we got to the finish the temperature was 91 degrees F! The shirt was comfortable all day. It didn't feel hot. Two days later I wore the same shirt for the final leg of the race. It was in the mid 50s and raining. Again, this shirt was comfortable. I now have several and wear them year around. Great product!
