What temp range is this jacket designed for? I see that it is moderately insulated.

  This jacket is designed to perform in various conditions on and off the ski hill. When used and layered properly this jacket can handle the harshest winter conditions when either riding in bounds or the backcountry.

Is the large size any longer than the medium size? are the sleeves any longer?

  The size large is an inch longer in all aspects to the size medium in both center and back length and sleeve length. The medium has a sleeve length of 36 1/2" while the large measures 37 1/2". The CF and CB of the medium is 24" and 29 1/2" respectively and the Large measures 25" and 30 1/2".
