What is EXOSKELETON?
Exoskeleton design puts strength where it belongs; on the outside of the tent. Poles slide through the rainfly, creating a taut, weatherproof shell that is roomy and quick to set up.
+ Quick to Set Up
+ Strong in All Conditions
+Limitless Versatility
Flexible Space: Canopy can be detached and
pushed back from the inside, creating a large
open space for stretching, sorting gear, or
playing cards.

Traditional
EXOSKELETON |
- Set-up is quick and easy; slide poles through sleeves in rainfly and place stakes. Canopy is protected by rainfly through the entire process.
|
SET-UP |
- Poles are attached to canopy during set up, canopy is exposed to weather until fly is in place, stakes are required to tension fly.
|
- Fly and poles are taut, creating a strong, weatherproof shell on the exterior of the tent. Canopy is suspended from this structure.
- Guylines are connected directly to poles for maximum strength.
|
STRENGTH |
- Canopy and poles create structure, fly is draped over outside. Fly is not secured to the tent structure and catches wind.
- Guylines are connected to the loose fly and do not provide strength to the pole and canopy structure.
|
- Walls are steep and roof is arched, creating greater headroom and more usable floor space.
|
SPACE |
- Walls are low angle, roof is peaked, offering less headroom and less usable floor space.
|
- Fly can be set up without canopy, for an ultralight, weatherproof shelter. Canopy can also be pitched without fly in warm weather.
|
VERSATILITY |
- Fly cannot be set up without canopy and pole structure, resulting in less versatility and fewer lightweight options.
