Great light jacket.

Would be better if zipper pockets and a chest pocket

Great mid-layer!

I use this product as a mid-layer. The fabric is surprisingly water resistant compared to other models from the Ferrosi collection. Comparing it to the Ferrosi Hooded Jacket the water resistance is a lot better. The only thing that is kinda weird are the draw strings.

Nearly perfect hoodie

This hoodie is close to being perfect. The only things I would change were the bottom of the hoodie fits quite tight around my waist and has no stretch so sometimes rides up. Zipper pockets would also help bump this hoodie from 4 to 5 stars. Aside from these minor details the hoodie is comfortable, stylish, and very functional. It is not the warmest layer but works great as a fall layer

Lightweight wind and light rain protection

I bought to use for evening running, seems to shed light rain and keep out the wind. So far does everything I was hoping for.

Solid Little Jacket

Handy thing to have around in case of wind, fog, light rain, or slightly sub-tshirt temps. I got one of these a couple years ago but lost it recently; I got a replacement in orange, which stands out quite nicely. Not much chance of getting accidentally shot by a hunter while wearing one of those (like there is anyways, hah). Won't feel very comfortable over a thick layer, best used over a base layer or two. Quite stretchy and easy to move in; breathability is up there, but it still is an effective windbreaker up to around 20 mph winds.

High Quality and Versatile

I have owned the original mens ferrosi jacket for several years and it has been great for a variety of activities, but the zipper pulls eventually pilled the fabric near the pockets and on the sleeves. This new Ferrosi hoody looks great for wearing around town and it has all the benefits of the Ferrosi fabric that I love. This layers perfectly with my OR Transcendent Down Sweater and my OR Filament Down Half-zip and fits nicely under my OR Skyward jacket. Extremely versatile and comfortable with typical high end OR attention to detail.

Lack of zippered pockets and the Key Ring are a deal breaker

I purchased the Ferrosi Crosstown Hoody and have taken it to the cold (Iceland, New Zealand) and the hot (Gobi desert). The Hoody works wonderfully as a layer and as a light jacket once I was warmed up in the cold and was sufficiently windproof and waterproof (light drizzle). The surprise was it's performance in 45 degree centigrade weather. The Hoody cooled me off by atleast 5 degrees, acted almost like a sun shirt!!! The biggest disappointment was the lack of any zippered storage. With the shallow pockets and no zippers, keys and a smart phone just plop right out. There is an inbuilt key ring in one of the pockets, but it requires two hand manipulation to attach or detach a key ring. And the key ring floats out, though secure, as you try to climb and reach out. Not sure why there are no internal zippered pockets for storage. This is a deal breaker for me and hence falls into the "I would not recommend to a friend" category.

This jacket is the perfect light, durable rain jacket

This jacket is really cool, it's a good mix of durability, water resistance and keeping the edge of the cold away. It's not meant to be worn in extreme conditions, but it's great for those cold fall or spring mornings or some light rain. I've even used it to go running and it works well to keep you warm during and after. I've used it in helicopters with the doors off and it keep the chilly morning air from freezing you. Overall awesome jacket.

perfect very lightweight summer evening fleece

for me this is a good fleece for evenings when the temps are above 65 with breeze... i am thin and run pretty cool most of the time.

I would definitely buy this again.

Daily wearable as either a layer or outerwear.
