Fun Fact:
Dan Nordstrom is a backcountry skier, climber, alpinist and passionate all-around outdoorsman.
In 1987, Dan was part of the team that established the first Thunder High Route ski traverse, from Rainy Pass to Eldorado Peak in the North Cascades, a feat unrepeated to this day. Dan has climbed Yosemite’s Half Dome in a single day, climbed and skied Wyoming’s Grand Teton, is a board member of the AMGA, and served as President of the Access Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping U.S. climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment.
He also happens to be the owner of Outdoor Research.
