Employee Favorites: Mountain Life shirts, pants, jackets hats and gloves

Outdoor Research HQ is located at 2203 1st Ave. South in the beautiful city of Seattle, Washington. We call the north end of Seattle’s SODO neighborhood home, and for us it’s the perfect spot: We’re located just a few blocks south of Pioneer Square’s high-tech startup culture, and we’re a few blocks north and west of the roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-it-done, hard-working industrial district. Right across the street is the port of Seattle, with ships coming from and going to far-flung places around the clock, and in every direction we have incredible views of the stunning natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest ... where we can usually be found on our days off.

Our address might not be glamorous, but for us it makes total sense. And right down the street is our favorite neighborhood watering hole, the Hooverville Bar.

We caught a motley crew of OR employees at Hooverville on a recent happy-hour visit, and we asked them a couple questions about their favorite activities, après drinks and Mountain Life styles.

Casual apparel built with technical fabrics, our men's Mountain Life and women's Mountain Life shirts, pants, jackets hats and gloves are built to for everyday adventures, from lunchtime bouldering sessions to afternoon staff meetings, and they’re practically the uniform here at our office.

Here are some of our favorites:

This deceptively techy polyester shirt distorts the notion that button-down flannels should be relegated to the closet on active days, blending wicking, quick-drying warmth with enduring mountain town style.
