How To Keep Your Shoes Un-Muddy Between Bouldering Problems
It was early season in Zion National Park, but we didn't mind bouldering in puffies. Or that the day was short. But the mud at the bottom of all the problems was actually a problem. It's tough to keep trying a problem if every time you fall off it, you find yourself tromping in mud clods. We quickly noticed that by wearing our Chacos as a covering, we could keep our climbing shoes cleaner longer. Yes, it might look dorky. But it works.
