I work all over Alaska from temps that are -45F at Fairbanks, -55F in Bethel (windchill applied), and a humid 0F in Anchorage. When in high-temp (red) mode the gloves provide an enormous amount of heat, and despite 30kt winds and bone-crushing cold will keep your hands from freezing up. They won't warm - nothing is at those temps - but your fingers and hands won't hurt or go numb. Combined with the impressive dexterity these gloves have which allow me to open small latches on the aircraft as well as write notes, these heated gloves are absolutely worth the money. However, I am having an issue with no heat being produced to the right hand ring and index fingers. I've used them twice and thought it might have just been user error or my own sensation issue. But sadly there is a manufacturing defect with them. I've contacted support to determine how to repair them. I definitely want to keep these gloves!
