RATING AND REVIEWS

Weight and pack nothing

Due it's one size, and I have a small head. Feels very loose. It's super lightweight and very comfortable, half the time I had to check if it's stl on my head. Just came back from trip to Arizona and Utah, it kept me from face the sun and ears from the cool breeze. Another piece of awesome gear.

Echo Visor where have you been all my life!

I've been looking for something with a short visor to shield the sun from coming into the top of my sunglasses and this visor saves the day! Sometimes you don't' want to wear a full-on visor or hat, and this is the perfect lightweight alternative! I wish I bought this years ago!

Weightless Visor

My new favorite visor! Fits really well under a climbing helmet and also I can use it with a headlamp without the brim blocking any light

Super Handy for Sunny Days

4

This is a great item to have tucked away in the bottom of your day pack or purse for those sunny days where you may have forgotten your hat or sunnies. It weighs virtually nothing and is good for folks who hate getting hot heads from hats. Only downside- the longer it was scrunched in my bag, the less smooth the brim looked. Easy fix though- dunk it in some water and let it dry. Good as new!

One size does not fit all

Unfortunately this hat was too big to stay in place in my head.

Under-helmet perfection

5

Skeptical? Sure you are, it looks pretty ridiculous in the photo. But this this is amazing. Truly. You will never go back to wearing a normal visor under your helmet again! I recently had the opportunity to wear this on a climb of the North Ridge of Mt. Baker, and it was great. Put it on in the dark hours of our alpine start and no issues with it obscuring the headlamp. Does a great job when the sun comes out and provides just the right amount of shade for your eyes. It is also feather light, literally. I also wore this on a few Alpine rock climbs and quickly realized how it does a great job of NOT obscuring your vision of the route when thing get more vertical. I actually started out one multi-pitch climb wearing my normal OR visor, but then SWITCHED to this one because I was getting frustrated with how much I had to crane my neck to see the route over the normal visor. Bottom line - just buy it and try it. You won;t go back! On sizing, I'd say it is sized for a M/L head (such is my helmet). It's perfect for me, but folks with a smaller head might find it too loose.
