RATING AND REVIEWS

A must-have for use with Grigri

5

I recently switched from an ATC to a Grigri and bought these to protect my hands (and eczema) from rope burn. They've done a great job and I pretty much always use them when belaying. Although I'm still getting used to belaying with gloves, these are totally worth it. I've only had them for a month, so I can't speak to how durable they are long-term, but I'm hoping they will last at least a year or two.

Best belay gloves out there

5

These are the best belay gloves on the market. They are built to last and they have a very useful design feature: the tabs on the fingers also protect your fingers from the rope.

Best belay gloves out there

These are the best belay/rap gloves I've used. Durable and well designed, with nice details like burly loops for hanging on a biner, and pull tabs on the fingers that double as rope protection.

Functional and well made

Purchased these gloves for use as a ZipLine guide. They provide the needed protection while maintaining required finger dexterity for manipulating carabiners, tethers and trolleys.

Good sizing

Unlike the metolius fingerless gloves which are way too small and tight (i ordered their size XL and they are too tight for my size M hands), these XL have plenty of room and are comfortable.

Rope gloves

Great fit. Leather protection continues around inside of hand between thumb and first finger. "pull tabs" on middle two fingers makes taking gloves off a snap.

So far I love them.

I like the little pulls pieces on the middle and ring finger. This helps with on and off and with protection for that joint climbing or using them with weight bars or axe handles.

Great fit

These are great! I use them for MTB riding as well as climbing and anything else that I don't want full fingered gloves. The quality is excellent and I love the way they fit and they are easy to remove either the pulls.

I use these to climb steel, either on via Ferrata or stage truss. My hands would get torn up without gloves but I still need to handle equipment and not drop anything. These work.
