Looking for a waterproof "bag" that wasn't a zip-lock and wasn't a monstrous dry bag can be a tough chore. But this "envelope" is perfect. As an outdoor educator who spent over 100 days in the field last year, keeping papers, journals and a Kindle dry is of utmost importance. From the rain and snow of Alaska and the Rockies to the windswept canyons of Utah and Red Rock, NV, this thing was perfect for storing all the crucial things I need to not get fired and not get bored. The one downside is that it's a real pain to open and close when it's cold out (below freezing) - the plastic stiffens up and gets hard to set in the track -- but still way better than a zip lock! I have both the small and the medium and I wish there was something in middle for sizing, otherwise it couldn't be any better.
