RATING AND REVIEWS

Dry iPad? nah, I'm old school: dry papers.

Looking for a waterproof "bag" that wasn't a zip-lock and wasn't a monstrous dry bag can be a tough chore. But this "envelope" is perfect. As an outdoor educator who spent over 100 days in the field last year, keeping papers, journals and a Kindle dry is of utmost importance. From the rain and snow of Alaska and the Rockies to the windswept canyons of Utah and Red Rock, NV, this thing was perfect for storing all the crucial things I need to not get fired and not get bored. The one downside is that it's a real pain to open and close when it's cold out (below freezing) - the plastic stiffens up and gets hard to set in the track -- but still way better than a zip lock! I have both the small and the medium and I wish there was something in middle for sizing, otherwise it couldn't be any better.

Hi, would a regular piece of 8.5 x 11 paper fit in this envelope? I see that the specifications are 10 x 11 but is that inside space or overall product area? I intend to use this as a way to carry contact information, waivers and risk management plans for trip leaders in the field. Thanks for your time!

Hi Kat, a regular piece of paper will fit in the envelope, however, I'm not certain how many pieces of paper or documents you'll be able to fit in there. I'd say about 70-75 pages maximum. Hope that helps, thanks for contacting OR!
