RATING AND REVIEWS

Good for the trek and running

5

I bring these with me for my North Carolina winter backpacks (mid/low 30s before wind chill once you're at elevation) and they perform great. These help with colder morning runs without that dreaded hand sweat.

great gloves.

These gloves are great. I wear them around town and To work on chilly days. I mostly wear them on the up when backcountry skiing. The wind stopper is excellent and they keep my hands toasty when I'm moving. The dexterity is great as well as the touch capability and the little grippers. I did eventually wear them though a thumb and a few finger tips but bought a new pair and keep the old ones for dirty jobs.

I consider myself a connoisseur of glhe liners having been put through Ranger school in the winter. This is the best. Snug fit, good insulation, grip, and touchscreen compatible.

Great gloves! Have worn them on everything from daily casual wear to hikes to warmer weather ski instruction. Excellent dexterity.

Sweet gloves

Great gloves for active use with poles. My go to approach/uphill glove in all but the coldest weather. Keeps hands warm on back and vents sweat through palms.

Disappointing

I've purchased two pairs of these gloves and a year later I'm sadly disappointed in not only their durability (from moderate use), but also their wind and cold protection. I mainly use these gloves when walking the dog in the cold mornings or evenings, but I've also used them when biking around town and on a few day-hikes in the Alps. I'll admit that my hands run cold in general and so when I need warmth I go for mitts (almost all of them are from OR). However, when it's windy or when riding my bike, I've found that these gloves don't do a good job protecting my hands from the wind. I also don't find them that warm. Most importantly, the synthetic suede has peeled off sometimes the sensor part of the glove doesn't work so well with my phone - on one pair I just cut off the tip of the thumb and index finger so I can still use them. Take the "lightweight" windstopper, "high-energy," and "liners" parts of the description to heart. The few times I've used them for running, they kept my hands warm, but they aren't very durable and I wouldn't count on them (even as liners under a shell) to keep my hands warm.

Great glove for a windy day

Nice glove to wear walking to the bus on a wet and chilly morning. Keeps the wind out but still not too bulky so you can tie your shoelaces or help your kid with the zipper without having to take them off. A little difficult to use the sensory pad on the thumb but the index finger works great if I need to use my phone.

Exactly what I was looking for

I wear these as a stand-alone glove in cool weather, and with a PL100 or PL400 underneath in cold weather. I bought them one size bigger to layer and it works perfectly.

These gloves got me through bike rides in sub freezing weather. My hands were toasty warm the whole time.

How to measure

Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles,do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
