These pants dig climbs that take them a few hundred feet off the deck. The tough but stretchy, breathable but wind-resistant Ferrosi fabric stays cool during long approach hikes, moves with you while talus wrangling and high-stepping on the sharp end, and blocks wind during long hours of belaying up high.

Sizing note: We have updated the fit of our popular Ferrosi Pants to be true to size. Compared to our previous fit, this is one size smaller than it was in the past.

Fantastic lightweight pants.

I wear these pants on casual days off and when I travel to warmer climates.

May buy again, not sure yet

I have to agree with others about no zippers on the pockets, my old pair are perfect, these...NOT good. I would recommend them to a friend, if zippers on pockets are not important. Certainly won't use these when I travel

Awsome pants

Awesome pants look and feel great

I would buy this again!

An amazing pant! It stands up to abuse and looks for more!

Ferrosi sizing is odd, maybe it's just me

I originally bought the Ferrosi pants at size 30. I am six-foot, 165, athletic. They were wayyy long on me and really big around the waist. I ordered these Ferrosi pants (short) at size 28. The length is better, ends right at my shoe, which I like, but now the waist is really small. I love the pants but the sizing is pretty odd, and not something I've had to deal with in other OR products. I'll make them stretch, I guess, but it's worth getting sizing consistent, if it can get that way, these are the best hiking pants around.

Perfect pants for anything outdoors.

Wore these on a ocean tour in Alaska. They really do block the wind. Was very surprised. Brought a base layer to wear underneath just in case, but it wasn't necessary. Highly recommend.

Ferrosi Pants

A great pant the works well in the rain.... Why....they dry soooo quick!

Another Homerun!!!

The first time I tried these pants, I was impressed by the fit and feel! I love the 24/7 and the Voodoo pants, but I think I just found my new favorite outdoor pant. The first chance I got to put these pants to the test, I spent 5.5 hours of plowing through brush (anywhere from knee to chest high) and navigating swamps in humid 80 degree weather. My buddy actually wore shorts and small game style brush chaps... These pants took everything I threw at them, they protected my legs and still looked as good as new after a quick wash! I still don't know if I'd want to plow through a field of multiflora rose, but still, I was more than impressed. The only complaint that I would even bring up, is that these pants fit about 2" longer per size than the 24/7 and Voodoo pants. I usually wear a regular length, but I had to purchase a short length to accommodate my typical fit.

New update ruined a perfect pant.

The new updates on this pant are a complete failure. The old ferrosi pants were perfect. I own 5 pairs and wear them daily. They were perfect for everything from work, casual, travel ,hiking, climbing, etc. They were outdoor pants that didn't look like outdoor pants and fit in everywhere. 1) The old pants had a perfectly sized side pocket with vertical zipper which was great for getting your phone in and out of while seated or at a belay station without having to dig into the pocket or worry about dropping your phone. The side pocket was even laminated so it didn't stand out like a "cargo pant." The new side pocket Is awful. It's too small for a phone, has a tiny top zipper, and a seam that sticks out. 2) The old pants also had small zippers on the rear pockets. Super nice for traveling and climbing when you don't want to loose anything. The new pockets don't have zippers. The old ferrosi pants were very popular and had great reviews and won awards. I would imagine that any good reviews on these new pants are only from people who've used the old version. I love OR, but this is a huge disappointment. DONT FIX WHAT ISNT BROKEN!
