I bought these gloves at my local gear shop. Nearly all the lightweight gloves this year seem have "sensor fingers" for smartphone users. Not having much choice, and not seeing any obvious drawback, I bought the gloves. The gloves are well made and work as described. However, the sensor tips on the fingers, with their added patch of thinner material, are noticeably not as warm as the non-sensor tip fingers. There's also a lump in the finger tips from the stitching that I don't like. Unless you really need to make phone calls in the cold, I would not recommend this type of glove.
