I use my gaiters pretty hard, and wear them daily for work. Used my busted pair of Rocky Mountain low gaiters for 5 or 6 years before I decided to retire them. Investigated the life time warranty, and outdoor research sent me a pair when I sent them my old ones. Not a good trade. Would have fathered just keep my old ones. The new pair is inferior in quality and care. The large/extra large fit very tight and they reduced the quality and length of the rubber strap that goes under your foot. Cheap, and sub par to previous pairs.I wouldn't recommend to anyone, seems to be the way of every single company: they start strong with good innovative products and as soon as they get a good base they transfer production to China and allow lower quality, materials, and designs to be used. Whatever saves them a buck, am I right? I'll be making my own gear from now on thanks to OR, arcteryx and platypus and their sell out culture.
