Fantastic jacket--super warm, really comfy. Perfect for hiking or just going out.

I LOVE this jacket!

I LOVE this jacket! It is the perfect weight (super light), and can fit in super small spaces. It's warm enough to wear by itself, but also breathable enough to layer with other jackets. Plus, it fits perfectly! I'm generally a small OR a medium in other brands (often right in the middle). I typically end up ordering a medium because I would rather have something that is too big than too small, but I went with the small on this and it ended up fitting perfectly!

Yes and yes!

Great coat so far! I've worn it a few times in both casual and adventure settings and am very happy. It stood up nicely to light drizzle, beading the rain off well. Not sure how it would do in heavier rain. I wore it recently to do a spring volcano summit and it kept me warm when it needed to with mountain breezes and colder temps, yet breathed well on the ski uphill. Finally, I love the style and fit! As a petite person who struggles to find things that fit in adult sizes (ugh seriously??) this has a nice slim fit that doesn't make me look like a 12 year old in their dad's baggy coat. YES!

Really nice warm jacket. Currently using it to enjoy breweries but it could go anywhere.

Awesome!

Bought this coat for my wife for Christmas. Mainly to use a liner under her ski coat (she tends to over layer). She absolutely loves it! She has worn it everyday this last week.... - 3 days skiiing - 2 hikes - 1 holiday car trip over the pass & back The hood fits great under her helmet and the coat works great as a layer. She is also looking for to using it as a packable this spring for hiking & biking

The perfect 'soft' shell

It's a great coat to wear on warm winter days and easy to throw under my shell on those colder days!

Good all around jacket

5

This jacket has surprised me with its all around versatility. It keeps me warm when I need an extra layer yet breaths well. I really love the drawstring around the face, it fits well under a helmet and really keeps the cold and wind out. I would say it does run a bit small, I'm petite so it fit me perfect. I'm 5'2", 110 lbs and the small is very slim on me.

Happy wife, happy life.

My wife is very happy with this jacket. It's a great value for the money - strong combo of insulation, drizzle protection, breathability, fit,and style. She wears it constantly now and it has made the fall/winter much more bearable for her. Thank you, OR.

Just the right jacket for fall biking, belaying, etc

Good for 35-50 degree days as outerwear and colder days as a mid layer. My other jacket with breathable side panels is too chilly. This one keeps enough warmth while allowing breathability. Sheds raindrops quite well and has that perfect chest pocket for the stuff you don't want to lose, and the hood you need fits over a helmet.

Bummed

3

I like the style and fit of this jacket, but, for the price, its really not that warm of a jacket. I'm also really bummed that within the first wear, i can see little white threads of stuffing coming out through the seams. Wore about 3 times, wonder if OR will accept it back?

Discussions

How long are the sleeves? I have a problem finding jackets with long enough sleeves... Thanks!

Lesley

Hi Lesley, The sleeve length starts at 31" for an XS and increases 1" for each additional size up. The sleeve length is measured from the center back neck seam to center of cuff (straight measurement). Thanks for contacting OR,

Paul
