This is a well-fitting, performant, and packable layer for those looking to get into the mountains. I take it with me on climbing trips, on backcountry skiing days during transitions, and even backpacking. I live in the PNW, so the synthetic hoody, hem, and cuffs, as well as the 70% down and 30% synthetic hybrid insulation in the core ensure Iﾒm warm, even when wet. Itﾒs not as warm as an 800-fill jacket thatﾒs equally as puffy, but I have found it to hold in warmth better than any other 650 fill Iﾒve owned (and we donﾒt always need 800+-fill anyway). Iﾒve found the fit to be great: a good length and roomy enough for layers but still cut in a flattering way. The hood fits over my ski helmet as well, keeping cold off my neck! I also love the fleecy, large pockets and the inside ﾓshove itﾔ pockets. Makes it easy to toss in a pair of gloves or my rock shoes to keep them warm while belaying. This jacket is a good value compared to its competitors. And with the infinity guarantee that some others donﾒt have, why wouldnﾒt you try it?
